International open call for dance-for-the-screen section dAS FESTIVAL 2026 – Tema e Variazioni

This international call is free and open to dance movies of any genre or style as long as they are created on purpose for the screen.
The audience will choose the winning work during the screening night on 18th September 2026 at the Greenhouse of Palazzo Ghizzoni-Nasalli, in Piacenza, Italy. The winning artist or collective will receive an invitation to be part of the programme of dAS FESTIVAL 2027, in a form to be negotiated with the dAS FESTIVAL team.
dAS FESTIVAL is an international dance and choreography festival taking place in Piacenza, Italy, and dedicated to Domenichino da Piacenza, the first choreographer of Western dance history. Most of the programme is set in unusual performance places such as public or private buildings and open-air locations in the city centre.
