Deadline for applications: 20.05.26

Maike Hemmers and Savannah Theis invite you to two public workshops exploring our relationship to life and death through movement and spatial drawing. Together we’ll create a space to stay close to what unfolds in ourselves, between us, and in the world — without looking away. A central thread is how we relate to death, shaped by personal loss and questions of presence, and our relationship to the world as it is now.

We’re bringing together Savannah’s practice in movement improvisation and Worldwork – Processwork’s systemic, embodied approach to working with groups and relational dynamics – and Maike’s development of drawing scores, informed by Augusto Boal’s Theatre of the Oppressed and the workshop series The Folded Door.

Through scores we will guide movement, spatial positioning, and collective floor drawing, and explore how relational dynamics can become visible and shared.

Open to anyone, especially somatic practitioners, artists, educators, and those working with movement or embodied practices.

Max. 10 participants
