O-FLOOR aims to provide a solution for dancers seeking a bridging training experience. O-FLOOR aims to provide a solution for dancers seeking a bridging training experience. This hybrid program combines working with local professionals actively shaping the industry with international choreographers who will share their knowledge, perspectives, and tools within the current international dance landscape.
During and after the training, participants will receive support from an internationalization specialist. Based on each dancer’s profile, this specialist will guide them toward their goals by connecting them with auditions, higher education institutions, and dance companies.
Furthermore, various parallel activities will be designed to connect these performers and creators with the professional world (visits to festivals and residency programs, workshops on application processes and portfolio development, and other bridging activities to different contexts where dance can also flourish).
In addition, the pieces developed with the various international instructors will be showcased in two performances held throughout the course.
