Komoco is glad to announce “Komoco Winter Intensive 2026” – the dance company’s official 5 days workshop. For this 9th edition we are thrilled to be collaborating with HSS Hub / polo per le arti performative: the workshop will be held in the beautiful brand new dance studio inside the hosting partner’s building, located in Naples – one of the most lively and iconic cities in the South of Italy.
Where: HSS Hub / polo per le arti performative, Via Galileo Ferraris, 29/31, 80142 Napoli, Italy
When: November 18 – 22, 2026
Deadline for applications: October, 22 2026
Throughout the week, selected dancers will have the opportunity to study with Komoco’s choreographer and artistic director Sofia Nappi and the company dancers.
Classes will focus on learning and understanding the Komoco language through research, while repertoire classes will be an opportunity to immerse yourself in the creations of the company with the original dancers and Sofia Nappi herself, for a taste of her creative vision. There will be a sharing of the work done during the 5 days in the studio on the last day of Intensive.
The workshop is aimed at professional dancers, 18+. We welcome people of all gender identities and expressions, cultural backgrounds and countries of origin.
It is an opportunity for the company and the choreographer to meet new artists, with the possibility of establishing future collaborations.
Participation is by invitation, only for a selected amount of dancers.
