Compagnia degli Istanti is launching an open call for 4 professional dancers to join the cast of TO BE KIND, a new production directed and choreographed by Roberto Lori, with artistic consultancy by Simona Bucci.
The new project stems from research into the themes of tenderness, kindness and care, understood as forms of connection, listening and recognition of others, drawing on the work of philosopher Roberto Mancini.
The open call is aimed at dancers aged 18 and over with a strong background in contemporary dance, proven professional experience, and an aptitude for improvisation, composition, listening and collaborative work. Applications must be submitted by 11:59 pm on Sunday, 18 October 2026.
Following an initial selection based on the materials submitted, shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an in-person audition in Florence on Thursday, 29 October 2026.

– a photograph;
– a video link to a showreel, performance or previous work, uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo (other formats, such as WeTransfer links, will not be accepted).

Applicants will be notified of the outcome of the first selection round by email.
