Registration is now open for the first annual audition for admission to the 2026/27 program at FOR Dance Theatre—an intensive, advanced training program led by choreographer Olga Roriz.

Lasting one year, the program is aimed at students and professionals with dance experience and includes disciplines such as Contemporary Dance, Improvisation, Repertoire, Creative Workshop, Physical Conditioning, Voice and Diction, Writing, Dramaturgy, Production, Management, Lighting, Sound, and Video.

The audition will take place on May 30, 2026, at 10 a.m., at the Central Studio of the Olga Roriz Company, at the Palácio Pancas Palha in Lisbon.

FOR DANCE THEATER

FOR Dance Theatre is a training program led by choreographer Olga Roriz, in partnership with dancers from the Company and professionals of recognized artistic and pedagogical merit.

Certified with ECTS credits by the School of Dance at the Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon, it is an advanced, intensive, and theoretical-practical program aimed at students and professionals in the performing arts with experience in dance, both Portuguese and international.

The course includes the practical disciplines of Physical Conditioning, Contemporary, Improvisation, and Repertoire (COR). Admission to the course is by audition, which consists of a Contemporary class, the Company’s Repertoire, and a freestyle performance.

The prerequisites for the audition are advanced basic training in dance, a basic understanding of composition, and the ability to adapt to various choreographic languages.

Course load – 27.5 hours per week – 1 academic year
Schedule – Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Monthly Tuition – €250 – 1 year, 10 monthly payments
