Wabi Sabi is looking for professional dancers for the multidisciplinary production ‘Filewolven’. This is a site-specific theater/dance performance with live music, which will be performed at summer festivals in 2027. Dancers will execute intensive choreography and acrobatics while simultaneously acting and delivering long texts based on true stories.

Role Descriptions
    Role Description 1: We are looking for a Dutch-speaking professional male dancer. The role is a father of a young family. In addition, various double roles will be played—ranging from a wolf to a businessman, a soldier, or an activist.

    Role Description 2: We are looking for a Dutch-speaking male dancer with a youthful appearance to portray roles ranging from a 16-year-old teenage son to a soldier or a resistance hero.

    Role Description 3: We are looking for a female dancer who can play an Iranian woman and is fluent in both Farsi and Dutch.

The Audition Will Consist Of:

    The presentation of a short solo (maximum 2 minutes) showcasing your theatrical skills.

    Learning a text to recite while supported by movement (the text will be sent to you upon registration).

    An improvisation exercise.

    Please indicate if you can play an instrument (bring it with you!) and/or if you can sing.

Requirements:

    A degree in dance and strong technical dance skills.

    The ability to work independently and an openness to acting and using your voice.

    Fluency in Dutch.

    An openness to performing and dancing outdoors on location.
