Applications are open for the 2026 Flamenco Certamen USA! Now in its 12th year, this first-of-its-kind U.S. competition spotlights emerging flamenco talent across three levels — Estudio (advanced student), Tablao (pre-professional), and Escenario (professional) — and supports their artistic evolution through one-on-one mentorship from international professionals, training, and access to a global flamenco network. Finalists will perform a solo accompanied by live music at the Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theater at Symphony Space in NYC on Saturday, October 17, 2026, competing for cash prizes, performance opportunities, and coveted scholarships to study in Spain. Costs for participants:
$500 for Tablao and Estudio Level, $200 for Escenario Level (*We strive to make the Flamenco Certamen USA a financially accessible program. Subsidies and payment plans are available but please don’t hesitate to reach out to us to discuss any concerns.)
