The Palucca University of Dance Dresden Germany has a vacancy for the position of a full-time W2-Professor for Contemporary Dance (tenure-track) as of 1st of September 2026.
For the professorship for Contemporary Dance Palucca University is looking for an internationally renowned personality in the field of dance education with extensive professional experience in contemporary dance.
A university degree in the professional field or proven pedagogical aptitude with exceptional professional achievements in contemporary dance is required.
In addition, applicants must have at least five years of a professional career as a contemporary dancer and at least five years of teaching experience in contemporary dance, preferably including experience at the university level.
We are looking for a person with strong social competencies, particularly integrity, teamwork, and a contemporary understanding of leadership.
