A 7-day immersive program in Lefkada, Greece, exploring the freedom of the voice through movement, improvisation, attunement and collective creation

Where: Paleohori eco-art space, Neohori, Lefkada island, Greece

When: 27 July – 3 August, 2026

Voice in Movement is an embodied approach to freeing the voice as sound, as means for expression, and as means for connection – to the self, the others, the ensemble, the surrounding nature.

Guided by Anna Luna Louvari, facilitator with a background in dance, theatre, singing and the Roy Hart work, the approach is rooted in movement, improvisation, and listening – to our breathing, our body, the voices and bodies of others, the collective sound, the music we give birth to as a group.

Each day, the two complementary practices of Releasing Voice and Circles of Polyphonic Improvisation are explored, where participants engage with breathing and voice releasing practices, movement and vocal improvisation, collective creation of polyphonic soundscapes and songs, group-solo supported improvisation journeys.

Voice is explored as pure sound, as speech, as singing, as music.

The process unfolds in a remote eco-art space on the hillsides of Lefkada island, where nature, community and movement practices meet, within a supportive group field and shared living environment.
