The 12th edition of the Goyang International Dance Festival marks an exciting step forward as we broaden our horizons and introduce GIDF ON COURSE, a new platform bringing together international exchange and contemporary creation through selected domestic and overseas works.

All pieces will be chosen via an open call process and reviewed by a panel of experts from diverse artistic fields before being presented at the Goyang International Dance Festival.

From local to global, we warmly invite choreographers and companies to join the stage of connection created by Goyang, and to share their work with audiences as part of this expanding international dialogue.

□ Required Submission Materials

Video

– New Work (Premiere)

‣ Submission of a URL link to a work-in-progress video (up to 10 minutes) is mandatory (1080p or higher recommended).

– Previously Presented Work (Revival)

‣ Submission of a URL link to the existing performance video is mandatory (1080p or higher recommended).

The submitted video must be identical to the work presented at the final stage.

Application

– Work Overview

‣ Artistic intention and conceptual framework of the piece.

– Stage Plan

‣ Practical and feasible staging proposal, with minimal stage set requirements.

– Team Composition and Cast Biography

‣ Outline of creative team members and performers, including relevant experience.

Right and Responsibilities

– Promotion and Archiving

‣ Selected teams must actively participate in and cooperate with all promotional and archival activities, including documentation of the creation process, performance recordings, interviews, and related filming required for publicity and future archiving.

Mandatory Requirements

– Performance Commitment

‣ The final performance must correspond to the submitted application, whether as a new work (premiere) or revival (re-creation).

‣ Duration: 20–25 minutes (strictly observed).
