Applications are now open for the “Move Concreto! International Video Dance Exhibition – Catas Altas edition”!
The program will consist of works that dialogue the language of video dance with experimental cinema, documentary, fiction, animation and other audiovisual forms. The screenings will take place in July in the interior of Minas Gerais.

The “Move Concreto! International Video Dance Exhibition – Catas Altas edition” aims to decentralize, disseminate and democratize access to different forms of video dance in the world, by holding a video dance exhibition with national and international works. To this end, proposals that are able to explore the powers and relationships between dance, audiovisual and contemporary issues will be selected. Move Concreto! is a video dance exhibition produced by the Grupo Contemporâneo de Dança Livre Contemporary Free Dance Group – (Brazil) and has been carrying out projects involving exhibition and education in video dance since 2017. The festival has already held 6 editions. In addition, we collaborate with festivals throughout Latin America and promote the dissemination and education in video dance for artists and the public. This edition is curated by Astergio Pinto, Daisy Servigna, Duna Dias, Flavi Lopes, Leonardo Augusto and Luisa Machala. The exhibition is funded by the Paulo Gustavo Law of Minas Gerais.
