When: October 2026 – June 2027
Deadline for applications: September 15th (limited spots)
The Dance Internship is designed for dancers with a strong contemporary dance background who want to become fully involved in the artistic life of FLYOUT Transition Company.
Dance Interns take part in company classes, rehearsals, creative processes and the development of new productions, while learning and maintaining FLYOUT repertoire throughout the season. Depending on the artistic requirements of each project, interns may also be selected as performers in FLYOUT productions, performances and artistic projects, working directly with the company’s artistic team and guest choreographers.
The position requires a commitment for the full FLYOUT annual cycle, from October to June, allowing the dancer to become an active and continuous member of the company throughout its different creative and performance periods.
We are looking for dancers with strong contemporary technique and performance qualities, professional or advanced pre-professional training, a collaborative attitude and a good working knowledge of English. Candidates must be available to live in Rome for the entire internship period.
