Call for Artists – Master Performing Public Space 2026 – one-year International Master Program (hybrid).

Master Performing Public Space aims at questioning, re-imagining and re-defining public space, in order to create alternative grounds for the benefit of art and society. We bring together a diverse group of artists from across the globe, all eager to explore the role of art in society and to engage with contemporary issues.   

The program’s dedicated team and passionate students form a unique interdisciplinary community engaging in processes of co-creation and in the investigation of alternative models for participatory and connective practices.

The one-year Master program is designed for international creatives from a variety of art disciplines, who currently focus on public space as their artistic environment.

This blended-learning program (online/on-campus) is investigating public space as a backdrop for artistic expression and intervention. Creatives with a background in theatre, dance, circus, music, fine arts, architecture, digital arts and graphic design are welcome to join this program.

How to apply:
Students in this program will be selected on the basis of the quality of their proposals. Artists must hand in:
• Project plan and research plan (explaining what you want to explore, develop and research)*
• Letter of motivation (should include your vision on the value of art in public space)*
• Curriculum Vitae / Résume*
• Portfolio of artistic experience (should include visuals like photos, videos, audio, sketches, reviews)*
• References and/or recommendations

Costs for participants: 2.601 euro/year
