The Dance Company of the Gerhart-Hauptmann-Theater Görlitz-Zittau, under the direction of Wagner Moreira (Bra/De), is seeking professional dancers and interns of all gender identities for the 2026/27 season.

The Gerhart-Hauptmann-Theater is a four-branch theatre based in Görlitz and Zittau, performing across the tri-border region of Germany, Poland, and the Czech Republic. With around 170,000 visitors annually, it is a leading performing arts institution in the region.
Under the direction of Wagner Moreira (Bra/De), the company (10–12 dancers) is rooted in classical technique and strongly engaged in contemporary dance, with a focus on interdisciplinary, inclusive, and site-specific work.
Profile:
• Excellent classical & contemporary technique
• Strong improvisation skills
• Partnering, contact improvisation and/or acrobatics
• Openness to interdisciplinary & mixed-abled projects
• Strong stage presence, musicality & professionalism
• Collaborative mindset and creative engagement
Conditions:
• Full-time contract or internship contract from September 2026
• Salary according to NV Bühne (Solo)
• Participation in productions, rehearsals & outreach projects
• Flexible working schedule (incl. evenings/weekends)
