Based in Santiago, the capital of Chile, the Ballet Nacional de Chile (BANCH), is the first professional contemporary dance company of the country, founded in 1945. As a part of the Center for Artistic and Cultural Extension of the University of Chile (CEAC), we are now accepting applications for a new Artistic Director.
Throughout its history, BANCH has cultivated a repertoire of over 200 works by national and international choreographers, establishing itself as an artistic and cultural benchmark.
Currently, BANCH consists of 18 dancers and 3 dance instructors who assist with rehearsals.
Starting in september 2026, the new artistic director of the Ballet Nacional Chileno (BANCH), will be responsible for leading the company, proposing its programming, repertoire, and aesthetic direction.
How to apply / register:
Applicants must commit to residing primarily in Santiago, Chile, and submit their application in spanish or english.
