Art Omi: Dance seeks applicants for the Summer 2020 Residency who work within any style of dance and who desire to collaborate, experiment, and share practices in a low-stakes, high quality, retreat-like setting.

When: July 20-August 10, 2020

Applicants active as both dancers AND choreographers, who work within any style of dance, are encouraged to apply. A selected group of ten highly accomplished, diverse dance artists will experiment, create, and collaborate in a facilitated, supportive setting. The Residency consists of three weeks of artistic process and sharing, and it includes room and board.

How to apply / register: Application Requirements: bio, photo, brief statement, professional letter of recommendation, examples of recent choreographic works, presentations, and projects in which you have performed, training history, 2-3 video samples as a performer, improviser, and/or choreographer.
