Carlos Acosta and the Acosta Dance Centre announce a one-year training course for 16- and 17-year-olds at the Acosta Dance Centre in London.

The course is a comprehensive training programme integrating core classical ballet training with associated disciplines including contemporary dance, Cuban folklore and Técnica Cubana, improvisation, choreographic composition and more. The course seeks to merge rigorous world-class training with holistic personal development. 
The one-year course will take place at the Acosta Dance Centre in Woolwich, London, from September 2025 and will include 20-25 hours per week of dance-related training. There will be at least 2 showcases throughout the duration of the course. 
There are 15-20 limited places available, deliberately chosen to ensure small class sizes and dedicated time allocated for each student.

How to apply:
The Acosta Dance Centre will host an Open Day on 22 February 2025 and a Digital Open Day on 1 March 2025 for those who cannot attend in person. Auditions will take place on 13 April 2025 for attendees of the CAEC and 26 April 2025 for all other applicants. Decisions and acceptance letters will be sent by 5 May 2025, and students will be required to confirm their acceptance by 2 June 2025.

Costs for participants: £14000 + VAT with a £1000+VAT deposit
