Platform 14 is a yearly dance event for emerging artists, dancers and choreographers to share their short pieces and/or works in progress. Invested in the diversity of dance, we offer a space for artists involved in different forms of dance to share their works with audiences and other artists in a theatre setting. Platform 14 is a space to create, connect and perform, while strengthening bonds across our community.
The Platform aims to break down barriers between different dance styles by bringing together international artists from different backgrounds with pieces lasting between 8- 15 minutes.
Whether you are coming from street dance, voguing, contemporary, modern or any other dance form, we encourage you to apply for the 2023 edition. Applications are open to various styles of dance and performance.

Basic technical lighting will be covered by Platform 14.
This is a paid opportunity. Each performer and choreographer will receive a payment and with compensation included in case of traveling or overnight expenses. Platform 14 will provide the artists with catering during the performance days, as well as video footage and photos of the performance. Participants are also obliged to join the workshop on the week of the performance as part of Platform 14 (more information soon) and support the other artists by watching their performance.
