LUNA PARK is seeking freelance dancers to collaborate on its upcoming creation “Heterogony of Purposes” which will take place from December 2024 to March 2025 in Berlin.

When: Saturday, 14th December 2024 from 12:00 to 19:00 & Sunday, 15th December 2024 from 12:00 to 18:00 (for selected participants only)

LUNA PARK is seeking freelance dancers to collaborate on its upcoming creation “Heterogony of Purposes” which will take place from December 2024 to March 2025 in Berlin. The work will be directed by choreographer Kosmas Kosmopoulos and is supported by TANZPAKT, a joint initiative of municipalities, federal states, and the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media, aimed at promoting excellence in dance.

A selection workshop/audition will be held on 14th and 15th December 2024 at Studio 1, Uferstudios, Berlin.

We invite applications from experienced contemporary dancers who possess a creative mindset, clarity in movement, a good posture, and advanced skills in improvisation and instant composition. Applicants should have an interest in deep movement research and the exploration of boundaries, as well as a strong commitment to collaborative work.

During the workshop/audition, participants will be asked to present a short solo performance in any style of their choice (dance, theater, music, singing, etc.) and engage in a group discussion regarding the performance.

IMPORTANT:
_ Applicants must be available for the rehearsal period from 20th December 2024 to 16th March 2025 in Berlin.
_ Please note that the audition is by invitation only.
_ The collaboration will be compensated in accordance with the recommendations of the LAFT office in Berlin for part-time engagements over the course of three months.
