In Café con Leche, improvisers Edivaldo Ernesto, Milan Herich, Florian Vuille, and Horacio Macuacua share their distinct movement practices in a four-week intensive that blends technique, improvisation, and creative research into a dynamic collective training experience.
Where: Tictac Art Centre, Brussels, Belgium
When: November 9 – 4 December (Mo–Fr) | 10:00 – 13:00 & 14:30 – 17:30
Café con Leche is a four-week intensive workshop that mixes different dance approaches—like coffee and milk—to awaken and challenge the dancer’s artistic practice. Throughout the day, four teachers share their methods: Depth Movement (Edivaldo Ernesto), Down by Spiral (Milan Herich), Screw It (Florian Vuille), and Sparkling Imagination (Horacio Macuacua), creating a rich environment where diverse techniques interact and influence one another.
Classes with the 4 teachers run daily from Monday to Friday and encourage dancers to engage deeply with each practice while integrating the information across the month. Through physical training, improvisation, and collaborative exploration, participants develop new movement qualities, expand their personal vocabulary, and experience dance as a collective creative process.
