Full-time Creative Director / Lead Instructor to lead the teaching and artistic program at a growing dance studio on the southern Oregon coast.

Where: Oregon Coast Dance Conservatory, Brookings, Oregon, USA

When: Full-time, salaried, ongoing; ideal start by the beginning of fall classes in September 2026

Deadline for applications: Rolling — applications reviewed as they are received

Oregon Coast Dance Conservatory, a growing studio in the coastal town of Brookings, Oregon (over 150 students), is hiring a full-time Creative Director / Lead Instructor. This is a chance to lead the artistry without the weight of ownership — the owners handle finances, marketing, and administration, so the Creative Director focuses on teaching, choreographing, and shaping the studio’s artistic direction.

The role: teach 15–20 classes per week across multiple genres and varied age groups (ballet, pointe, jazz, and modern, ages 7 through adult; tap and musical theater a plus), choreograph the studio’s signature holiday and spring story ballets and pieces for its performance company, and help set the creative vision.

Compensation: $58,000–$65,000 per year depending on experience, plus a studio car if needed, professional-development opportunities, and annual tax-preparation assistance.

Qualifications: minimum two years of teaching and/or professional performance experience in ballet, jazz, and/or modern; a degree in dance or a related field is preferred, with equivalent experience considered. Candidates should be able to relocate to Brookings, ideally by the start of fall classes in September.

How to apply:
Email your resume and cover letter to Jenifer at Info@CatchTheDanceWave.com. Teaching, choreography, or performance reels are welcome. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

This is a paid, salaried employment position.
