Barcelona Movement Research Intensive: Gaga • Movement & Emotions • Creative Research, a 3-day intensive for dancers who want to deepen their physicality, creativity, emotional range, and artistic voice.

Led by Maya Simhon and Gianni Notarnicola, the workshop combines Gaga movement language, improvisation, groove, emotional research, imagination, and creative process.
Across 3 days, participants will explore:
-Gaga Movement Language
-improvisation and instant composition
-groove and rhythm-based tools
-emotional physicality
-instinctive decision making
-development of personal voice
-creative tasks and creation processes

The intensive is designed as an intimate space with limited spots, allowing personal attention, direct feedback, and deep research. Participants will receive practical tools to strengthen their presence, creativity, versatility, and confidence as performers and creators.

Maya’s Research Lab
Maya Simhon focuses on improvisation, creative freedom, and developing an authentic artistic voice through movement research, composition tasks, and instinct-driven creation.

Gianni’s Movement & Emotions Lab
Gianni Notarnicola combines groove, improvisation, and emotional research, exploring how emotions can generate movement material and personal movement language.

Bonus Show
On the last day, participants will also attend an evening performance featuring works by Maya and Gianni.
