In the context of the Choreographic Platform WhatWeAre in Udine (Italy), the Ballet Company of the Sorbian National Ensemble (SNE), under the artistic direction of Mia Facchinelli, invites applications for male dancers.
Based in Bautzen, Germany, the SNE is dedicated to the preservation, promotion, and continued development of Sorbian art and culture. With its three professional divisions—ballet, orchestra, and choir—the ensemble presents a rich and diverse repertoire, including dance theatre, music theatre, symphonic concerts, children’s productions, and folklore.
SNE performs extensively throughout the German-speaking regions and Lusatia and has toured internationally in more than 40 countries.
Requirements
• Strong classical ballet training
• Excellent musicality and sense of rhythm
• Experience in contemporary/modern dance
• Knowledge of folk dance styles
• Openness and willingness to learn new movement languages
