Backhausdance, Southern California’s critically-acclaimed contemporary dance company, is seeking male and female dancers for its 2018-2019 season. Strong modern technique with a solid ballet background is required. Audition will include a contemporary ballet barre, company repertory and improvisation.

Backhausdance strongly recommends dancers register for the audition in advance at www.backhausdance.org/audition/. Onsite registration begins at 9:00 am. Please arrive early and bring a headshot and resume highlighting prior professional experience. Video submissions are also accepted through June 2nd and can be submitted at www.backhausdance.org/audition/
