There are three artists invited to teach contemporary in Krakow!
First edition is taking place in 3rd – 5th of July.

There are gonna be 4 classes every day, each 90min from 10am till 6pm (including breaks)

Artists:

Gizem Seçkin 

is a freelance contemporary dance artist,choreographer,instructor based in Istanbul. She started her dance career at the age of ten with ballet. After eight years of ballet education she got accepted to Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Istanbul State Conservatory Contemporary Dance Department. During her education she worked with many different choreographers. Also she started choreographing while performing at university(O’da,Ethos,While Passing…)She spent her one semester in Accademia Nazionale di Danza Roma with Erasmus program and worked on different modern dance techniques. After graduation she focused on performing,creating and curating dance works. She is currently working with different choreographers and focusing performative researches

Melissa Younker 

(she/her) is a Salt Lake City based artist with a multifaceted dedication to dance; directing, choreographing, teaching, learning, performing and designing costumes. Her experimental approach combines her multi-disciplinary experiences to create and collaborate in solo, ensemble, site-specific, video, and live performances. She is driven by curiosity: engaging in processes that are intimate and unrestrained. Originally from Southern California, Melissa received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from California State University, Long Beach. She has toured to Croatia, France, Mongolia, South Korea and throughout the USA as a dance artist and educator with Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company, Nikolais Dance Theatre, DanceMotion USA℠, Oriantheatre Dance Company, Heartland Collective, Keith Johnson/Dancers, among others. Melissa’s work as an artist is always an exchange of ideas – a sharing of wonder.

Luca Andrea Borzacchini 

Experienced choreographer and freestyle dancer born in Terni, Italy. Ten years of varied learning and professional experiences in many different genres of dance, though more strongly grounded in urban dance. Took part and won many choreographic competitions such as Word of Dance Italy and Paris, and performed shows in theaters through the last eight years, honing the ability to express oneself through diverse art mediums in order to keep the emotional connection to it as the main focus. He has toured musicals with Italian dance companies in plays such as, for example, „Nightmare Before Christmas”. He danced as a Guest at Time to Jack, The Circle Finals Italy and ART4. Now part of “Identity Project” and looking for new ways to keep growing personally and artistically! During the workshop, he will focus, among other things, on isolations in the body, choreography, but also on laboratories and discovery of movement
