The Rippleffect Summer Academy is a choreographic dance intensive for evolving Choreographers and Dancers. Our Summer Academy offers the community an open environment dedicated to growth through feedback, application and practice. By challenging your comfort zone, expanding your movement vocabulary, and refining your intentionality through movement, growth in self and craft is inevitable.

In just seven days, eight choreographic apprentices will conceive and stage original works for live performance and film under the mentorship of six world-renowned dance artists. This one-week intensive pulses with energy: you’ll train, rehearse and perform in an atmosphere that’s as demanding as it is encouraging.
As a dancer, you’ll begin with an audition—where the apprentices will cast their pieces—and then dive straight into daily rehearsals alongside over sixteen hours of classes taught by our dynamic mentor roster! Past faculty have included Justin Conte, Candace Brown, Erica Sobol, Teddy Tedholm, and more!
This program is designed for advanced dancers (14+) ready to push themselves in a professional setting. You’ll sharpen your craft in performance for both stage and screen, forge deep connections and emerge with new skills and fresh inspiration for your dance practice.
