LIEVITO Residencies is a residency programme that includes seminars and masterclasses dedicated to the development of contemporary research and creative practices, as well as to professional positioning and management within the cultural and artistic sector. It is addressed to artists and curators under 36 working in the fields of visual, performing, choreographic, and audio-video arts, with a focus on BODIES, IMAGES, and narratives in MOTION.
Where: La CAP Re|Hub, Via Capacciola, 178, 53048 Sinalunga SI, Italy
When: July 2026 – January 2027
Deadline for applications: April 30, 2026
The project takes shape around the metaphor of yeast (LIEVITO in italian): to ferment, to grow slowly, to transform, and to nourish. LIEVITO Residencies values the extended time of process, care, and the conditions that make artistic practice possible.
LIEVITO Residencies offer 10 residency small grants, structured into two six-month cycles, addressed overall to 8 artists and 2 curators. Each cycle welcomes a group of 5 participants: 4 artists and 1 curator aged between 18 and 35. Residents will take part in a programme of seminars, workshops, and lectures, and will live and work at La CAP Re|Hub, a residency and contemporary creation space based in Sinalunga (SI), Tuscany.
LIEVITO Residencies is a project developed by La CAP Re|Hub in collaboration with IPERCUBO. The residencies are funded through the PR FSE+ Tuscany 2021/2027 programme and are part of Giovanisì, the Regione Toscana project for youth autonomy.
