The Dance Department of Goce Delčev University, North Macedonia, operating in Skopje and Štip, is pleased to announce an open call for auditions for enrollment beginning in October 2026.
Founded by Full time Professor, PhD Risima Risimkin and led by Associate Professor Adrijana Danchevska Rovchanin, the department offers the following study programs:
•       Three-year BA in Contemporary Dance
•       Four-year BA in Ballet Pedagogy
•       One/Two-year MA Studies in Choreography
•       One/Two- year MA Studies in Education
•       One/Two-year MA Studies in Production
All courses are taught by highly experienced professors and professionals in the field. Throughout the academic year, students will also have the opportunity to work with distinguished international guest professors and choreographers through residencies and special projects.
The Dance Department maintains partnerships with numerous dance academies and higher education institutions across Europe, offering opportunities for international exchange. The department actively participates in the CEEPUS program, which currently connects seven European dance academies and universities.
Teaching is intensive and takes place Monday through Friday in accordance with the curriculum. In addition, students have the unique opportunity for an internship with with Skopje Dance Theatre and participate in productions organized through Dance Fest Skopje https://interart.com.mk/mk/. This professional engagement enables students to gain practical stage experience, contribute to professional productions, and perform both nationally and internationally.
The diploma is issued in English and is internationally recognized.

Candidates must have completed secondary education and submit the following materials:
•       A 2-minute solo dance video
•       Biography (CV)
Application Requirements for MA
Candidates must have completed Batchelor Studies and submit the following materials:
•       A choreographic work and/or Showreel
•       Biography (CV)

Application materials must be submitted no later than 20 July 2026.
All registered candidates will be invited to an online interview prior to the final admission decision.
