Through the meeting of martial arts and dance, participants explore precision, awareness, and improvisation, discovering a symbiotic relationship between rooted technique and artistic freedom.

Where: Tictac Art Centre, Brussels, Belgium

When: March 21 – 22 | 9:30 – 17:30, 2026

We would like to kindly invite you to this study event guided by two teachers, Peter Krč and Martin Kilvady.

The subject of this workshop are two different and interlaced domains. Martial Arts and Dance.
Peter Krč will teach traditional Martial Arts, Martin Kilvady is presenting his personal craft anchored in the field of contemporary Dance.

Peter and Martin met 40 years ago training karate in the sport club in Slovakia. Several years later, Martin followed the path of dance studies and Peter continued dedicated journey to Martial Arts.
15 years ago they started to develop a form of the study event where they place both Arts into coexistence and offer practitioners to uncover the specific and shared essence of their work.
In this workshop, it is the Traditional, what has been formalized over the centuries and related to the specific cultural context meets the Personal, un-rooted and often instantly composed.
It is a moment where the Martial meets Artistic, where the separation and togetherness can symbiotically coexist.

We will work many hours a day, fully present.
