FoRest (Fundamentals of Observation, Rest, Experimentation, Sustainability and Transit)
is a 3-day residential laboratory that brings together dance, hiking, active meditation and aquatic bodywork within a remote coastal landscape. The encounter takes place in Guy Guy beach, a wild territory and natural reserve accessible only by foot or by boat.

Conceived as a small-scale collective experience, FoRest invites a group of participants to share time living, moving and creating together in close dialogue with the surrounding ecosystem. Through dance explorations, attentive walking and somatic practices, the laboratory cultivates a space for listening, creative intimacy and embodied research.

A central dimension of the retreat unfolds in the water. Through aquatic bodywork sessions inspired by Watsu and Aguahara, the sea becomes both studio and collaborator. Water offers a field where gravity softens, perception expands and relational movement can emerge through trust, support and fluidity.

Approaching the human body as an amphibious system, the laboratory explores the creative potential of moving between elements. The interplay between land and sea invites participants to re-sense the body’s adaptive intelligence and to engage with nature as a living partner in processes of attention, rest and transformation.

FoRest is open to movers, artists, thinkers and anyone interested in embodied research and shared experiences of creativity in nature.
