Durational Bodies with Sara Lu – 5 days workshop in the frame of Summer/ing 2026.
Where: Tanzfabrik Berlin, Möckernstr. 68, 10965 Berlin, Germany
When: 27.-31.07.26 // 12:00-15:00
This 5-day workshop approaches duration as a lived, physical practice. Through extended movement tasks, we stay with action long enough for something else to appear—beyond effort, beyond habit. As time stretches, attention shifts. The body reorganizes, perception sharpens and drifts, and a different quality of presence begins to take shape. Listening deepens. Things slow down, or dissolve. A dance with time, with uncertainty, with what cannot be fully controlled. Sensation becomes a guide, and movement emerges from continuous negotiation rather than decision. The workshop offers a shared yet open space for individual exploration. Open level, it welcomes dancers, performers, and anyone curious about durational practices and expanded states of attention.
