CORE + ME is the first global online symposium bringing together dance composition educators and choreographic mentors to exchange creative training approaches and discuss the state of the field. The event will be held via Google Meet for three hours each day on November 6–8, 2026.
The symposium also offers networking and professional development, featuring prominent international experts and presenters and welcoming attendees from around the world.
Ideal attendees include dance composition educators and mentors of emerging choreographers in academic, professional, or independent settings who are eager to explore new techniques and approaches.
Attendance is free, but space is limited to a few dozen to be admitted access. Prospective attendees must apply to receive an invitation and access link.
The symposium is sponsored, curated, and managed by Dance ICONS, Inc. (International Choreographers’ Organization and Networking Services), based in Washington, D.C., USA.
