A choreographic competition open to all styles of contemporary dance.

*Schedule
The schedule for the rehearsal and the competition is as below. The detailed schedule will be announced later.
– June 5: Set up (Rehearsal)
– June 6: Competition Day 1
– June 7: Competition Day 2

* Benefits
– All participants will be provided with photos and videos of their choreographies.
– All participants will have free access to all workshops during the festival period.
– All participants will have networking opportunities with artistic directors and programmers from other Korean festivals.

* Awards
–       International Spark Award – the winner of the International Spark Place
(The winner will be invited to the next year’s festival with the support of production, accommodation and per diem.)
– Artistic Director Award
– Audience Award

* Accommodation & per diem
– The organizer will provide accommodation up to two rooms with twin beds for three nights. 
– All participants including choreographers and dancers will be provided with per diems in Korean Won.

* Conditions
1)      Eligibility
– Choreographers must be born between 1991 and 2006.
– The competition is open to any contemporary dance style.
– Only one choreography may be entered per applicant.
– Applicants (choreographers) must be of non-Korean nationality. (There are no nationality restrictions for dancers).
– Applicants (choreographers) must be present at the competition. (An appearance in the choreography is not required)

2)      Application Process
– The application form must be completed and submitted by Feb 6, 2026(KST).
– The choreographic work should be submitted as an Internet link (youtube, vimeo, etc.).
– The video should contain only the choreography to be performed in the competition.
– The duration of the performance has to be between 8 and 10 minutes.

3)      Additional Requirements
– The choreography must have been performed in public before.
(Premieres will not be accepted).
– Competitors must be available for performances on both the rehearsal day and the competition day.
– Admission to the competition will be decided on by a pre-jury evaluation of the submitted videos.
– Pre-jury evaluation results will be announced via email in early March.
