ZeroPlus DanceWorks announces entry into its year-long contemporary dance training program!
We await the applications of those who are 18 years old or older and who are already advanced in their dance studies.

The training is recommended for all those who would like to study in a concentrated and systematic way and for those who prefer a versatile approach in the performing arts. The training can also be useful for those who want to continue their education at a higher educational dance institution in the future and want to prepare well for this.

You can customize your learning schedule by choosing courses from the somatic and contemporary technique modules:

CONTEMPORARY SOMATIC DANCE (10 September 2018 – 23 June 2019)

Days of School: Monday, Wednesday 9.00-12.15

Classes: Body Awareness Dance, composition, Physical on Stage, contact improvisation, improvisation

CONTEMPORARY DANCE TECHNIQUE (11 September 2018 – 23 June 2019)

Days of School: Tuesday, Thursday 9.00-12.15

Classes: contemporary dance, ballet, floor barre, Pilates, repertoire

CONTEMPORARY TECHNIQUE FOR BEGINNERS (14 September 2018 – 23 June 2019)

Days of School: Fridays 9.00-12.15

Classes: contemporary dance, ballet

WEEKEND TRAINING (15 September 2018 – 23 June 2019)

Days of School: Saturdays 9.00-12.15

Classes: contemporary dance, ballet

While we encourage you to apply for both the somatic and the technique modules in order to get the most out of the curriculum offered it is possible to choose one single course or you can combine courses in which case a discount will be applied.

Please note that all fees must be paid in one sum at the start of the course!

In addition to the above, students also learn excerpts of contemporary dance pieces created by ZeroPlus DanceWorks, they will be given compositional tasks, will create short solos, duets, etudes and take part in a demonstration at the end of the first semester in December, 2018 and at the end of the year in June, 2019.

The training takes place in a small group of minimum 4, maximum 10 participants whom will be chosen via a video audition.

The application should contain your professional CV and a short motivation letter. In your CV please list your previous studies and include links to videos of you.
