We will devise short choreographic phrases, develop ensemble work and the relationship with the space and with the audience. Participants will also revisit important stage concepts of the performer such as presence, complicity, simplicity and precision.
The work is based on creative mechanisms used by Fool’s Cap Theatre and it’s open to dancers, choreographers, actors and contemporary circus performers, who are interested in exploring movement as a bold, vibrant and multidimensional approach to devising and creating.
This workshop has previously been taught at University of Essex, University of Central London, Liverpool Physical Fest, Drama School Mumbai and at Micadanses in Paris.
