WomanEwer is a 5 day intensive that celebrates female empowerment and survival through contemporary dance/ you will learn company repertoire and creative tasks inspired by WomanEwer’s latest work “J’ai un Bleu”.

What to expect:
Every morning, the residency will start with contemporary dance training open to experienced movers & led through breath work, technique, crossings and floor work. You will also learn company repertoire from WomanEwer’s latest work “J’ai un Bleu”. The second part of the intensive will be led through improvisation, creative tasks, group exploration and instant composition.
This 5 days residency celebrates female empowerment through contemporary dance, voice & movement exploration. Over the past 4 years, Laura has developed a “tool box” to generate authentic movement based on art work, images, vocal & visual scores, poems & testimonials from female activists, encouraging participants to share their own experiences and open up the dialogue around consent.
