Spend 4 weeks immersed in an exploration of contemporary dance practices and methods to foster your professional and artistic growth.

WHIM Summer Intensive ’24 features an incredible faculty of artists who are eager to share their ideas and perspectives to provide a platform for your personal development and artistic goals.

Olivier Wevers – Whim W’Him Artistic Director and Founder
Maurya Kerr – Choreographer, Director of tinypistol, former LINES Ballet dancer, and writer

Whim W’Him Contemporary Dance Center Faculty

Designed for pre-professional and professional dancers, participating artists will gain tools to serve and develop their creative practice and development as individual artists. You can learn more about the program offerings on our website.

Whim W’Him believes strongly in the power of individuality in artistry and offers this program as a platform for dancers to build further confidence in their own artistry.

Daily Schedule will be sent to accepted applicants at the program start.

Housing is not provided (aside from two housing scholarships) but applicants will be given information for finding housing upon acceptance.

– Limited scholarships are available for artists in need of financial support. We also offer scholarship funds for BIPOC dancers.

– There are two housing scholarship available for provided housing in separate studio apartments.

– There is 1 Work/Study Artist position available.
