Ballet d’Jèrri is looking for a permanent Rehearsal Director to join our team. The company is made up of 8 dancers and performs a varied repertoire demanding that both classical and modern technique be maintained to a high standard.
We are looking for someone who will uphold and advance our standards of excellence while sharing our values and vision for an evolved dance sector. Dancer training and support, assisting choreographers, and aiding the artistic director in scheduling and admin will be encompassed in the role. This is an opportunity to help build something new and make a difference in a community.
An ideal candidate will have had an extensive career in ballet and contemporary dance, working with a wide array of elite and innovative choreographers. Previous experience as a rehearsal director or choreographic assistant would be preferred.
