Unscripted Space is Kassel’s raw stage for improvisation practice and spontaneous performances. Each edition invites a guest artist to shape a one-day immersion into their artistic practice — from the studio during the day and onto the stage in the evening.
This event takes place on 21 February 2026 and works with Laura Aris and her ongoing practice Play Full Body. The day consists of a 5-hour workshop, followed by an evening performance where Laura performs and the space opens for live sharing.
What is practiced during the workshop can travel directly into performance. The focus lies on improvisation, physical attention, partnering and group dynamics.
The workshop is open to professional and emerging dancers interested in improvisation and instant composition.
Workshops are held in English.
