ChoreoNova is a professional, award-winning contemporary dance and dance film company. We use contemporary dance works and programs to empower people. We perform regionally and produce innovative multidisciplinary and traditional works. Because of incredibly talented dancers like you, we have been able to produce dance that makes people feel.

We are looking for two dancers like you, one Superego and one swing, for “The Freudian Psyche” for a performance in Pittsburgh, PA and/or Charlottesville, VA; and a possible dance film shoot. “Psyche” depicts the war for the human soul between the Id, Ego, and Superego. The work has been developed via contact improvisation.
All body types you may have are welcome!
All races and ethnicities you may be are welcome!
You must have partnering and improvisation experience.
You will receive professional film for your reel. Future paid work will be available. You and us should start a relationship!
This is a part-time project for you. “Psyche” is NOT a full-time contract and does NOT include relocation or travel assistance, except between rehearsals in VA and performances elsewhere. However, if you are looking for a reason to come to the U.S. or are already planning to come, this could be right for you.
Rehearsals will be in Charlottesville, VA in July and/or August either Fridays-Mondays or just on weekends for several weeks. Accommodations available.
