A 15-days international videodance workshop, in a grandiose setting in France, to make dance films together with professional means – free for the dancers, paying for the filmmakers.

Where: La Roche-Guyon, France

When: From August 15 to 28, 2022

Deadline for applications: June 30, 2022

TETRALAB is an international experimental videodance laboratory created by Fu Le (Tetrapode Company). The 3d edition will take place this summer, from August 15 to 28, 2022, at the Château de La Roche-Guyon (Val d’Oise), in one of the most beautiful villages in France.

TETRALAB is a practical training that offers the opportunity to dancers (“Movers”) and choreographers and/or video makers (“Makers”) who wish to make a choreographic film, to meet in order to produce films with professional filming means and tools.
During 15 days punctuated by theoretical and practical workshops and meetings with dance and video-dance recognized experts, 9 Movers and 6 Makers will learn about video production tools and constraints.
Each Maker makes 1 short film (3 to 5 minutes).
Each Mover takes part in 2 or 3 films.

TETRALAB allows participants to integrate a solid research and production network in video-dance.

Participation in the workshop is free for Movers (apart from the transportation + catering).
The participation of (French) Makers can be supported by an OPCO (Afdas…).

Any entry is subject to acceptance by the teaching team, within the limits of available places.
