The Sur Mundo Ensemble invites emerging dancers, performers, musicians and dramaturges of all fields to apply for its in-house workshops-lab, held during the ensemble’s creative residency Dance Research & Development Project [Ultima Cena].

During the ensemble’s residency, there will be an open space of shared knowledge about the tango as a core dramaturgical language, and the artistic group will offer three In-House Workshops-Lab in 1. dance Language, 2. tango music and 3. dramaturgy on-site. The residency for Dance Research & Development, as well as the in-house workshops-lab, is co-organized in collaboration with Perdu Theatre and other partners’ studios in Amsterdam.

Emerging dance, dramaturge and music artists -professionals/ scholars/ trainees- working in those fields of contemporary dance and theatre, music, tango, performance and multimedia art are welcome to register for participation. Tango performers or social dancers are as well very welcome to apply. There are no age boundaries.
