The ‘Summer Intensive’ at Gymnasium Essen-Werden takes place from 24.08.2026 – 29.08.2026 and is aimed at students aged 10 – 19 (exceptions possible) to take part in a carefully designed program ranging from ballet, Gaga to Felix Landerer repertoire.

We are delighted to announce the first edition of our “Summer Intensive” at Gymnasium Essen-Werden from 24.08.2026 – 29.08.2026!
The summer course is aimed at dance students aged 10 to 19 (exceptions possible based on individual assessment), who will be divided into three groups based on age:

Group A: Ages 10–12
Group B: Ages 13–15
Group C: Ages 16–19

The program offers a balance of different dance styles, aiming to integrate the fundamentals of both classical and contemporary dance into an exciting synthesis ranging from ballet and Gaga to repertoire from Felix Landerer, Artistic Director of Tanz Theater Bielefeld.
In addition, we are planning discussion formats to address topics such as dancers’ health, auditions, and the various career paths available to dancers.
