SUDDEN FICTION on STAGE Award is a competition for short pieces to be performed on stage, pieces that explore the physicality of the performer, the function of the text, the use of technology in the creation of a possible new dramaturgy.
SUDDEN FICTION on Stage is a short piece, with a maximum lenght of 12 minutes, created for the purpose of being performed before an audience and which may contain text, movement, images, visual, sound space and other notes that the author(s) deem necessary for the staging of their dramaturgical project. The entire content of the proposal must be calculated so that, once the piece is on stage, it does not exceed the maximum duration limit specified.

The deadline for submission of proposals is October 7th, 2023 at 11:50 p.m., Lisbon time zone. Submissions after this deadline will not be accepted.
