Open call for audition for studying Master of Arts in Contemporary Dance Choreography & Master of Arts in Contemporary Dance Education.

From October 2025, Skopje/Stip Dance Academy at the Goce Delcev University, which otherwise operates in Skopje and is run by full-time Professor Risima Risimkin, PhD, will start the new season with Master’s Degree in Contemporary Dance Choreography and Education, one-year or two-year program, depending on previous education.
The program of Master of Arts in Contemporary Dance Choreography includes the following subjects: Choreography, Scenography – stage design; Laban analysis; Dance theory; Costume history; World Music and Performing Arts Theory.
The program of Master of Arts in Contemporary Dance Education includes the following subjects: Methodology of Contemporary dance techniques; Methodology of Classical ballet; Laban analysis; Dance theory; History of Costume; World Music and Performing Arts Theory.
All courses are led by experienced professors; during the study program, there will be residences of foreign professors and choreographers. The teaching will take place through cooperation with a mentor, according to the curriculum, and at the same time, the students will have the opportunity to practice with the Skopje Dance Theater to prepare the practical work (https://www.facebook.com/skopjedt) and to present their works in the frame of Dance Fest Skopje (https://www.facebook.com/interart.mk).
Dance department of UGD is connected with different dance academies in Europe, USA and China with whom there is possibilities for exchanges.

How to apply:
Potential candidates must have completed higher education from the first cycle studies and will take an audition. Аll registered candidates will have an online interview before coming to the audition in Skopje.

Costs for participants: the tuition for studying is 1.600 Euros per year
