As a way to provide connection and community through movement, ShaLeigh Dance Works is offering 8 ShaGa classes and 1 ShaGa Movement & Mindful Meditation class per week! Classes are open to everyone, no matter your age, experience, or location in the world. Groove with us from the comfort and safety of your own home!
When: Sunday – 4pm, Monday – 3pm & 8pm, Tuesday – 3pm, Wednesday – 3pm & 8pm, Thursday – 8pm, Friday – 3pm, Saturday – 4pm
In ShaGa, we move from our body, the ultimate refuge. We allow our bodies to become our teacher and our healer.
ShaGa is a movement practice of self-discovery, healing, and awakening to our deeper resources. It opens us up to the capacity to experience movement as a source of healing and vitality. We discover that by inhabiting our bodies more fully, we are able to more fully inhabit our lives.
We are teaching these classes on Zoom, a free application accessible from your phone, tablet or computer. Simply register by clicking on the link for each class below, and you will get access! Please be sure to register ahead of time for each class! Zoom meeting links are emailed to you after you register.
Classes are entirely donation-based and we encourage those who are able to give what you can. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
All donations received will go directly to support our Teachers who are without financial security in these challenging times.
