Join us for a 10-day artistic retreat in the south of Brazil. We are gathering in Gamboa, a beautiful seaside community near Florianópolis, Brazil to explore and share dances and rhythms.
On the menu:
– folkloric and ancestral dance lineages from Brazil, Africa and Europe
– exploration of and co-creation with nature
– experimenting with tools and traditions for artistic creation
Sensing Bodies is open to all who are inspired by bodies, movement, creative process, and performing arts.
This program is a training intensive, a creative process, a retreat, a confluence, and a magical meeting place.
This is a response to our hearts’ desires for connecting and relating in new and ancient ways.
We welcome people with different experiences, backgrounds, trainings, careers and passions. This program is especially for:
– Artists of any discipline
– Bodyworkers
– Healers
– Dance enthusiasts
– Cultural workers
– Anyone interested in bodies, movement, creation, culture

Payment Tiers
Tier 1: 1650$ CAD
For those who need to save and plan in order to attend
Tier 2: 1850$ CAD
Our recommended choice for covering program costs
Tier 3: 2050$ CAD
This choice will support generous salaries for teachers and more organic food in our meal plan
Cancellation Policy
By January 1st, 2025: If you need to cancel for any reason, we will refund the amount paid minus a 150$ CAD administration fee.
From January 2nd, 2025 – March 10th, 2025: There are no refunds, but if the retreat is sold-out, we will invite someone from our waitlist. If we find a replacement, we will refund the amount paid minus the 150$ CAD administration fee.
After March 11th, 2025 (retreat start date): There are no refunds or transfers.
