The International Video Dance Festival of Burgundy (France) hosts an annual research conference on dance filmmaking and we are currently calling for participation in our student round table and conference.

As part of its annual research conference that takes place during the festival week, we invite participants to discuss their experiences of studying screendance in higher learning (undergraduate & graduate level both welcome). Students interested in participating in this informal discussion should send an e-mail describing their studies to by May 10, 2019.

Conference papers on the following topics are also welcome:
Research focused on the theme of the 11th festival: “Inner Landscapes, Surrealism & Screendance”
-Widening representations of race, age, and minorities in screendance
-Practice-based research in screendance
