Ruh is Urdu for ‘soul’. The connection between spirit and body. The bridge between authentic movement and your soul. The thread that joins dance to your inner expression.
Ruh is designed not only to improve you as a mover or a dancer, but also to help you realise the creator in you and release blocks from within. The workshop aims to help you let go of past patterns both as an individual and as a professional (in whatever field), and to discover the untapped potential that is within each one of us.
Aastha Gulati is a dancer and movement practitioner from Bangalore, India. As well as being a professional dancer and dance/fitness trainer who runs her own company, Aastha is also an experienced therapist qualified in various healing modalities from both Indian and European traditions.
The workshop will explore stories waiting to be released from the body using Yoga, QiGong, fight/flight mechanisms, chakra visulations, movement improvisation, Five Elements theory, partner work and sound.
Costs for participants:
Early bird rate full workshop £100, after 3rd October £115 full workshop
